Biography

Robert Krantz is a unique human being.

In his latest film, A Marriage Made in Heaven, he became the first person ever, in the 130-year history of motion pictures, to write, produce, direct, dance, edit and star in a movie.

The movie has now been seen in over 50 countries, by millions of people, and was nominated for 7 International Christian Film Festival awards, with Krantz winning for Best Screenplay.

Krantz has also been in multiple other movies (Back to the Future, Woman in Red), TV movies (Billionaire Boys Club, Onassis) and sit-coms (Who’s the Boss?, Silver Spoons, 21 Jump Street).

He has also sold his original screenplays to Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox and Columbia Pictures.

Additionally, Krantz produced, wrote, directed, and starred in the award winning Do You Wanna Dance?, Christmas with the Karountzoses and Faith, Hope & Love.

For Faith, Hope & Love, Krantz received multiple nominations from the International Christian Film Festival for Best Screenplay, Best Picture, Best Actor and won for Best Director.

He has also written several best-selling books, Falling in Love with Sophia, Guide to the Divine Liturgy, Guide to Holy Week and produced The Saints video series.

He is beginning pre-production, this year, on his new movie, Falling in Love with Sophia, which is based on his best-selling book.

Krantz now lives in Aliso Viejo, California in California, with his wife Tricia. They recently celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary, and have triplet sons, Chris, George, and Nicholas.  As Krantz has told audiences everywhere, his greatest joy has been being a great husband and a loving and present father for his boys.
